Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to feel confident booking with Medvancer. This policy explains when you can reschedule, cancel, or request a refund, and how the UK 14-day cooling-off period applies to our services.

1. 14-day cooling-off period (Consumer Contracts Regulations)

Because Medvancer is a service you buy online, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel from the date of purchase. However, by starting a service inside that 14-day window (for example, attending a session or uploading a personal statement for review) you agree that we can begin delivery immediately and you lose the right to cancel that specific service once it has been fully performed.

2. Rescheduling

• Free rescheduling if requested at least 24 hours before your session.
• Requests within 24 hours are treated as a missed session and are non-refundable, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
• Email medvancer@gmail.com to reschedule.

3. Free Q&A session

The free session is exactly that — free. You can change your slot or cancel from your account up to 48 hours before the session. No-shows without notice, or cancellations less than 48 hours before the session, mean you will no longer be able to book a free session in the future. For anything else, email medvancer@gmail.com.

4. Ace Your UCAT Session (£20 / hour)

• Full refund if you cancel more than 48 hours before the session.
• Cancellations within 48 hours of the session, or missed sessions, are non-refundable.
• Free reschedule with more than 24 hours' notice.

5. All-In-One (£50)

• One-off package covering UCAS application review, personal statement review, a 1-hour UCAT session and a bonus 1-hour interview practice session.
• Full refund if you request it before any part of the package has been delivered.
• Once your statement has been reviewed or a session has taken place, the package is treated as started and is non-refundable.
• Individual sessions can be rescheduled with 24 hours' notice.

6. Personal Statement Review (£20)

• Full refund if you have not yet uploaded your statement — email us to request.
• Once your statement has been uploaded, the review is treated as started and is non-refundable.

7. 1:1 Interview Practice (£30 / hour)

• Free reschedule with more than 24 hours' notice.
• Cancellations within 24 hours, or missed sessions, are non-refundable.

8. Cancellation due to illness or emergency

We understand life happens. Contact us at medvancer@gmail.com as soon as you can and we will do our best to reschedule or offer a fair resolution.

9. If we cancel

If we have to cancel a session or a course, we will offer you a full refund or a replacement session of equivalent value, whichever you prefer.

10. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are made to the original payment method via Stripe and typically arrive within 5–10 working days.
